I provide training, coaching and consulting in management tactics that will help you thrive in the current and in any economy. I help individuals and organizations achieve results and reach their true potential by eliminating low-level inefficiencies. I cover:

• Training:
  1. Task Optimization (Do MORE in LESS time) Many people waste time within tasks due to Parkinson's Law. Task Optimization is a set of nine tactics to control Parkinson's Law and increase productivity by 15% to 65%! I offer on-site and off-site training in Task Optimization.
  2. Resource Optimization (Do MORE with FEWER resources) The word TEAM can be an acronym for ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’. Resource Optimization consists of 4 sets of tactics to improve individual and team output. I offer on-site training in Resource Optimization.
  3. Tactical Problem Solving Traditional problem solving takes too long. When there isn't enough time to follow the standard problem solving process, what do you do? Tactical Problem Solving is a course that will give you the ability to solve problems under sub-optimal conditions, i.e. with insuffienct time, resources or information. I offer on-site and off-site training in Tactical Problem Solving.
• Coaching:
  1. Tactical Management Every coach creates a playbook and picks the right play that suits the situation. Tactical Management helps you work with a playbook of tactics to simultaneously do more in less time and with fewer resources. I will coach you in creating such a playbook.
  2. Tactical Project Management Great military strategists have discovered that almost all plans go awry. The highest ranking soldier in any engagement employs tactics to reach objectives. Similarly, while planning is an important activity in any project ("If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"), it is important to use tactics to reach desired objectives. As a Project Management Professional with many successful projects under my belt, I have discovered many tactics to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. I will coach you in Tactical Project Management and help you use less time and fewer resources to implement projects.
  3. Exploiting the Window of Opportunity A strategic approach to any situation is considered to be proactive, and a tactical approach is considered to be reactive. Anything reactive is generally frowned upon since it does not give you the luxury of time to think things through, and the thinking sometimes gets in the way of the action. There is a third approach - RESPONSIVE. This approach allows you to respond to any situation in the same way that a fire fighter responds to fires: the fire fighter does not REACT but RESPONDS. I encourage the use of response to exploit a small window of opportunity. I will coach you in the thinking process that allows you to analyze a window of opportunity, define the appropriate response and execute the response with discipline.
• Consulting:
  1. Task Dashboard The modern management mantra is "If it cannot be measured, it cannot be managed." I have created two metrics to track Task Optimization - Task Efficiency and Estimate Accuracy Index. I will help you set up a dashboard to track these two metrics, identify areas of strength and problem areas, identify stellar performers and tasks any given resource is best at, and to set up SMART goals and performance indicators.
  2. Project Dashboard Most organizations track a project's progress using a project dashboard. If such an entity exists in your organization, I will help you add metrics to it in order to track the new project tactics. If such a dashboard does not exist in your organization, I will help you setup necessary metrics to track projects.
